ABOUT US

The RISE (Relationships and Interactions in School Environments) research group consists of researchers and doctoral students based at the UCL Institute of Education. We are dedicated to conducting high-quality research in primary and secondary school settings. In particular, we study interactions and relationships in authentic everyday educational settings using a range of research approaches, methodologies and designs.

We aim to inform and impact practitioners and policymakers and academic audiences, in an effort to understand and improve interactional and educational experiences for children and to help enhance children’s lives.
