• Utilising wearable technologies and traditional data collection methods to understand the connections between peer relations, classroom engagement and well-being in primary school children - see LINK

• Improving the effectiveness of groups in classrooms (SPRinG) Funded by ESRC (see www.spring-project.org.uk).

• ​A follow-up national study of school break and lunchtimes and young people’s social life within and outside of school 2016-19. Funded by the Nuffield Foundation (see www.breaktime.org.uk)

• Playground Games: their social context in elementary/junior school Funded by Spencer Foundation (see www.breaktime.org.uk)

• School lunch and behaviour studies - In collaboration with the School Food Trust. This research examined the effects of the school lunch experience on engagement and learning in primary and secondary school classrooms.
